We keep working to provide the best value for our clients.
Our story begins with our Founder John Hopkinson. John started his career in aviation in 1959 and quickly became a well-known name in the industry internationally. John’s reputation as a successful negotiator, appraiser and visionary service provider was passed down to his sons who now run Hopkinson Aircraft Sales today. John has trained each member of the team to ensure they absorbed his highly varied international experience to ensure focused support for any aircraft-related need. Our team is dedicated and strives to ensure that this legacy is carried forward today. Below are the expert minds that keep Hopkinson as a force today in the modern marketplace.
Andrew Hopkinson works with our clients on acquisitions and sales of new and pre-owned aircraft. He also specializes in the establishment of flight departments and management company placement. Although not limited in scope, his focus has been on corporate jets and turboprop aircraft. He has been particularly active in the jet segment, acquiring and selling many Bombardier, Falcon, and Gulfstream type aircraft over the years. He has represented high net worth individuals and Fortune companies from all over the world with a particularly strong focus in Canada and the Western United States. In his free time he enjoys golf, mountain biking, and spending time with his wife and three little boys, Jack and William.
Keith Hopkinson specializes in commercial and commuter type aircraft as well as all turboprop aircraft. He has been active in many transactions involving jet aircraft as well and assists in flight department consultation and turnkey management solutions. He leads our commercial aircraft division and has overseen many fleet dispositions and acquisitions. Although not limited, he has had particular experience in the ATR, Beech 1900, Dash 8, Saab 340, and King Air markets. Keith is an expert in dealing with the logistics of inspections, pre-purchases, and imports of foreign and domestic commercially registered aircraft. He has transacted deals on most continents, and in many cases, areas with little support. He brings a strong technical understanding of these types and simplifies the process for our clients. Keith is also a private pilot and is currently working on his multi-engine and IFR endorsement.
